Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
If you enter a name, date of birth, or other detail in a search tool, the information is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its result. Hardeman County Warrant Records does not retain a local copy of search terms entered into those partner tools.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If the site operator receives a message from you, that message may be kept so the operator can respond. It is not shared outside the operator’s organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a browser requests a page, standard technical details may be logged by the web server:
- Your device’s IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- The site that referred the visit, if available
- Time and date of each page request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies may be stored on your device to measure general site use, such as which pages receive visits and where sessions end. Analytics services can combine this information into traffic reports. Browser settings can block cookies; some site functions may respond differently when they are disabled.
What We Do With This Data
- Maintain the site and help pages load reliably
- Route a search request to the provider that operates its tool
- Understand which reference pages are useful
- Find and repair technical problems
- Display advertisements that may relate to a visitor’s interests
No Warrant Data on File
This website does not host, build, or sell a database of official warrants or personal warrant records. It publishes general information about where Hardeman County records may be held, including the sheriff’s public contact, the JP and municipal courts, and the County Clerk / District Clerk functions. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes are operated by outside companies. Information entered in a partner tool is handled under that provider’s privacy policy and data-retention rules, not this policy. Hardeman County Warrant Records does not control how those companies share or keep a submitted query. Read the provider’s terms before entering any personal detail.
Links to Other Websites
Links on this site lead to county and city offices, Texas courts, the Attorney General, DPS, federal courts, and other services. When you leave this site, the destination’s privacy terms govern what happens during that visit. Review those terms before providing information.
Some advertising partners may use their own tools to recognize activity across sites and select ads. That tracking is managed by the partner.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by the site operator. Information may be processed by:
- Search providers receiving queries you submit
- Analytics services measuring visits and performance
- Ad networks serving ads on a page
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect the information the operator collects. Internet systems cannot be guaranteed free of every weakness, so no promise can be made that a breach will never occur. Use care when sending personal details through any third-party service.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor’s information is received, the operator will delete it after learning of the issue.
Your Data Rights
Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, gives certain rights to consumers when the law applies to a covered controller and data. Coverage depends on the law’s scope and exceptions. Where a right applies, a consumer may be able to:
- Ask whether personal data is being processed and request access
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal data provided or obtained about the consumer
- Receive a portable copy of eligible digital data
- Opt out of covered targeted advertising, sale, or profiling
Texas Government Code Chapter 552 is a separate public-records law for information held by governmental bodies. It governs requests to county or city offices, not private visitor data held by this site.
Updates to This Policy
The policy may be revised. An updated copy will appear here with a new effective date, and continued use after an update means the current version applies.
